Talented Summer School - 2006
|

| During the six week school summer break Artblock ran a one week summer school for selected year 5, 6 & 7 'Gifted & Talented' children from the Derby area. The week's program of activities was diverse, intense and designed to push the children's creative aspirations. | |

Day 1 saw the children looking
at movement and creating wire & clay figures.

Day 2 was spent exploring observational
drawing & watercolour technique.
|
|
 |
 |
|
Day 3 looked at basic mask making
& card/paper construction skills.
|
|
 |
 |
|
Day 4 was spent creating collage
& box art.
|
|
 |
 |
|
Day 5, the final day, saw the
children finishing any unfinished work and putting together an exhibition
which was attended by friends, family & the local press.
